There is twenty seconds in the game
Twenty seconds to make history and fame
The team huddles around me as I call the play
In me, is where their hopes lay
Ten seconds, I have called a pass
Knowing this play would be the last
we all ran to our places
nervous looks on our faces
Five seconds, the center snaps the ball
The receivers and safeties are at a brawl
I drop back and look to throw
Moved to the left to dodge a blow
Time is up, and no one is open
the fans still cheerin’ and hopin’
I see a receiver cut to the right
and I release the ball to take flight
