Underneath my bandage

Underneath my bandage and the plasters on my arms
Lies my cuts so deep, and all the scars that remain
Where my blood spilled to freely
and I was on my knees in agony once again, once again

I can see the bloodstains seeping through all the white
Where my wound is has reopened, freshly it bleeds
Cleaning it away, and replacing the bandage
Not wanting to give in, to my cuts deepened needs

Old scars stick out, staining my arms
I can see them, they hurt me more than anything
Wanting to wash them away but unable
Wanting some happiness to bring

Under my trousers lie words on my legs
Written in moments of madness and pain
On my paper lies your name in my blood
I talk to myself over and over again
