I stand on the edge
of everything
i stand on the ledge
of something

above all the water
the wind blowing
the water churning below
thrashing and boiling

ready for me
i look into the gray sky
feel the rain on my face
like tears; the world is crying

for me
for my life
it doesn't want me to go
but now is my time

the waters hiss my name
calling me
while the earth screams for me
telling me to stay

everyone will miss you
no they won't
they don't care
i hold my arms up

and dive off the rocky cliff
i enter the ocean
all air leaving my lungs
they're shrinking

the waves pull me up
and swirl me in
making me one with the them
they calm

i am gone

outside the wind screams
lighting goes

they are angry
they had loved me
but i did not believe them
now i am gone
