A Girl

by Christina Marie   Mar 24, 2005

She swears theres nothing wrong
She keeps a smile on her face
And her scars hidden
No one would ever know
She was putting on an act

But her friends know her better than that
They check her all the time
Make sure she is doing okay
Making sure there are no scars
Making sure her smile is real

Sometimes she can believe
That she might turn out okay
But its hard to tell
Happiness just seems so far away
She doesnt know if she can reach it

Her friends tell her she can make it
Give her encouraging words
Try to do it for her
But now its too late
Shes the only one that can help herself now...
