This is a poem to say that I’m in love,
In love with the ocean and the sky above,
In love with the grass and the wind that blows through,
In love with the world and most of all you.

This is a song to tell you the truth,
The truth about how I’m locked in a booth,
The truth about how my life will renew,
The truth about how I’m in love with you.

This is a story to tell you I’m sad,
I’m sad that in my life I’ve been bad,
I’m sad that in your life I’ve made you blue,
I’m sad that in our lives I love but can’t be with you.

This is a speech to tell you I’m sorry,
I’m sorry I left and made you start to worry,
I’m sorry I made you mad and you didn’t know what to do,
I’m sorry I never told you how much I love you.

This is a poem to say that I’m in love,
In love with my life and the symbol of the dove,
In love with my music and the color baby blue,
In love with my goals but more than anything I’m in love with you.
