In my corner

by diamondtears24   Mar 24, 2005

I sit here in my corner
I pull out my blade and begin to carve
I retrace the same cuts again and again
A red river begins to flow now and then
The longer and harder it flows the faster my life slips away
The faster my life slips away, the faster my pain will finally end

With each cut more and more blood flows
With each cut I come closer to achieving my goals
My blade has yet to fail to do its intended harm
Again and again I place it upon my arm
Again and again I release hurt while causing pain
Well the pain I’m causing is worth getting rid of the hurt
The pain is worth reaching this certain level of ecstasy that I reach whenever I retreat to my corner
