My Locked Door

by Lance Hardy   Mar 24, 2005

It all happens again and again
You come in your special way
But always leave me praying
Oh god, will it ever be my day?

Where will I find the courage
To make it all so real
I am continually losing myself
I will never get a strong feel

The doubts in my persona
Are absolutely never-ending
Trapped in my head all the time
Slowly leeching away my living

Yet day after day, a single glance
Can open the blackest gates
Releasing me upon the world
For as long as my dreams dictate

You taunt me with the deep blue
And entice with golden streams
How beautiful everything is
When I live in these wonderful dreams
