Here we are again
Trapped with no end
Lost in this sea.
You won't leave me be.

He stares you in the eyes.
You look down at the floor.
You try not to cry.
And all the while,
He's asking you why.

How could you do this?
What did he do wrong?
These twisted distortions.
Have gone on far to long.

"I'm sorry..." You say.
Soft words mumbled out.
Meaningless,
Words,
You know nothing about.

"I'M SORRY!" you scream
You stare in his eyes
Finally the truth
We must say our goodbyes.

Stare locked in place.
Don't look away.
The truth has come out.
