Memories that matter...

by Alya   Mar 24, 2005

We realize what matters
When we 're hurting,
At times when life
Gives an unfair treat.
Which one of silly things
We are deserting
Be missed, and cherished
After years fleed?
This busy room
And coffee in the morning
And coming of the sun
Through stained glass,
Not other things
More relevance supporting
I'm gonna miss
Through years that will pass.
How human nature
Celebrates so funny
Desires for simplicity and warmth.
So plain and are almost uncanny
My memories,
Those that are made to last.
This book , and steam of coffee,
And the morning,
And full of busy strangers coffee shop,
And other things my soul today is mourning
Be held in memory
For years to come, I hope.
