The way I feel about her

Realizing we had real love,
Love that was pure,
For the first time my heart was not just mine,
It was in the palm of your hands,
Yet you were afraid for anyone to know,
The secret of what exists,
If you do not show it how can it possibly grow,
It has stopped at that kiss,
The first moment I knew that Id end up like this,
In love and lost in a haze,
Half the time it was like walking on air,
The other half feeling sorrow,
As if no one could care,
Always thinking it was just a phase,
That would have its end,
Yet it still exists till this day,
A never ending cycle,
That will leave me to pray,
To hold you in my arms,
Where you will remain that way.
