All right, my newest story, Do You Care, for anyone who has read it, knows that it is about a Master Vampire, Jack. Now, I have had people *cough, emma, cough* who are confused by the--i guess terminology behind it. OK, so let me explain. First off, there is the Neteru thing. What this basically referring to is that once every century, someone, always a woman, is born with the power to carry a Vampire's Child. You see, this is crucial because then Vampires can continue to live. Without a "day walker" line, Vampires would die out. So when I say that the Neteru of the century has turned, that means that she has turned into a Vampire, because she couldn't resist the bite of her lover. The only way for Vamps to reproduce, is through the Neteru. So when Natalie says that she is half Vamp, half mortal. This is HUGE. Because the Neteru had already turned, that means that a Vampire mated with a human being. Normally, this can't happen because Vampires are extremely weak creatures who have no self control, and would bite their partner during sex. (that's how the centuries Neteru changed.) So, that means that Natalie herself is a mystery. |
