Alone....

by BleedingAngel   Mar 24, 2005

Lying alone in a hospital bed
no one here to hear me cry
I can't remember the words I said
before I thought I was going to die

The nurse comes in and smiles at me
I just look the other way
her smile is just as fake as mine use to be
and she doesn't know what to say

She puts her hands on my scared arm
asking me what went wrong in my life
why did I begin this self-harm
why did I cut my wrists with a knife

All these questions are messing up my head
just leave me the hell alone
I just wanted to be found dead
cause I couldn't make it on my own

She just keeps on talking
as I stare in to the wall
Then finally I can tell by her steps that she's walking
"If you need anything just call"

Everything here is so white and clear
damn I hate this place
my pain is shown by the tear
that's rolling down my face

You comes over to my bed, don't know what to say
I see the sadness in your eyes
must have been scary finding me this way
hearing me say goodbye

How can you still say that I'm the only one
after what I've put you through
look at the person I've become
some one who is broken in two

Please, don't let them keep me here
I just want to go home
Don't let me face my biggest fear
please, don't leave me here alone

I promise I won't do it again
I won't even cut my wrists
That's a promise I will keep until the end
if you just take me away from this....

I know it's not one of my best, but it's a true story!!!
