Rain Drops

by Jodie-Lea   Mar 25, 2005

My feelings get told as
The rain hits the ground
The sadness i feel inside my heart
Is shown all around
It slides down the windows
As if tears down my face
The happiness which once stood strong
Has now been replaced
It starts to get cold
As the rain pelts down
I see everything so clearly
Yet i hear no sound
It's like it stopped raining
And it started in me heart
Pelting down just like i had seen it
But it stops as quickly as it starts
Each drop that falls
Each puddle it makes
Is a reminder of what i did
A reminder of every mistake
I was told that each rain drop that falls
Is a mistake that someone regrets
Someone who either did or didn't mean it
But wants to forget
Next time it rains
Find that drop that belongs to you
I know it may hurt, But you should know
That mistakes are what makes you, YOU
