I Told You So

She claims this guy isn't her boyfriend
but why are they always going out
he buy her things
and calls her darling
but she says they are no more then friends
she used to say how much she hated guys and never wanted to be with another
but now shes always with him
and thats all she talks about
she introduced him to the family
and they all think he is so great
only i can see how he'll break her heart
yet no one will see it or believe me
until the day that he does break her heart
i was right all along
all i want to do is say i told you so and leave her
but i have to be a faithful daughter
so i comfort her when she crys
listen to her when she complains
and pretend i was never right
i finally get her back on her feet
and I'm prepared once again for the next guy that comes and goes
if only she would learn her lesson
and see that i am right
then maybe some day we would get along
and the world wouldn't revolve around her
