One Moment In Time

by Lisa D Larson   Mar 25, 2005

Here we are, frozen motionless in this moment of time,

Where two silhouettes danced, if only for a night

I remember the tux you wore, the flowers, your hair,

The way the candle light danced in your eyes

The reflection of us in the glass, smiling shyly,

Looking like we were so much in love

The realization of knowing the moment we shared

Knowing this second of rapture is now over and gone

The memory now not as clear and fresh

Things I thought I'd remember are fading fast

Like the way your body felt as we moved in rhythmic seduction

Your hands on the bare of my back, gentle yet firm,

That sent tingles shooting down my spine

The way your eyes turned dark with heated desire

The warmth of your words close to my ear

Sending waves of emotions crashing over me

The full softness of your warm lips covering mine

Bring in small, sharp breaths of rising need

And all of this in just one moment in time.
