If I never see tomorrow
Don't pity me in sorrow
For I have opened my wings,
And flown without restraint
I have lived my life in full
Without any regrets
I have stood up to mine enemies
I have faced all my consequences
I never laid down and hid
I fought all my battles hard
I rejoiced in victories
And I have survived all my loses
I was never afraid to fail
Because without failure I never succeeded
No more will I be of body, of mind, of heart
For now and always I am just a soul
Wondering, learning, teaching, and finding
All that I can until this clock runs down
The second hand ticks by slower now
And my time is almost done.
