Miss. Opera Ghost

by Jacklyn   Mar 25, 2005

You can count me out,
I am not another face in the crowd,
hidden by a mask,
half white and half black,

in the opera I am the Phantom,
so bleak in the mind,
I am just a lonely girl crying,
no more do you see of me,

besides these dull eyes piercing the scene,
behind this mask I hide,
as I sing in my lonely nights,
I am the Phantom of this Opera,

behind this mask I hid,
it is half black and half white,
in this lonely hell I hide,
the shame upon my face,

the torture and the lies,
the world showed no compassion for me,
I am no human, according to them,
just a creature of darkness,

with a disgraceful face,
with distortion upon my soul,
what it is like to be me?
no body will ever know.

I am just Miss. Opera Ghost,
shadowed by the light,
living in this hell,
surrounded by foolish lies.

~weird but it is kind of based on Phantom of the Opera.~
