Smiling Down at Me

by Molly   Mar 25, 2005

All i see when i close my eyes are torn wounds and ruthless lies
Gaping wounds and terrorized cries
Shes broken me and torn me down to her level
Suicidal thoughts a lost life with her as the devil
Nothing no one can say will make these thoughts subside
This crimson regret that i will not hide
If she wants me to bleed for her, bleed i will
But in doing so our lives, my heart i do kill
I purse my lips as the blade slides down
My life giving blood falls to the ground
Along my fingertips onto my shoe
in loving her this is all i can do
No thought in my mind but making her smile
My heart finally beats its last mile
My eyes close and all i see
Is a picture of her smiling down at me
