Your Supposed To Be My Parents

by Katie Lynn   Mar 26, 2005

I thought you were my parents,
I thought you were here to help,
All you have done is cause me pain,
You never allowed me to do what I wanted.

We don't talk very often,
But when we do,
We always yell and fight.
I can't tell you how I feel,
You just don't listen...
When I talk,
You space me out.

You wonder why I like to go else where,
And why I stay in the darkness of my room...
Well here it is mom and dad,
I hate you so much,
I can't help but do so.

When I talk about my friends,
You always criticize,
I just don't know whats wrong with you,
But I do know,
That I'll soon be through.
