You Never Cared

by Katie Lynn   Mar 26, 2005

I understand it now,
I understand you don't care,
You lied to me,
You fooled me,
Just like a true jacka** would.
You said you cared,
But that was just a bunch of lies.

You knew I would trust you,
And still you decided to betray me...
I thought you were a good person,
You began to help me a lot,
But that didn't last long,
You decided you would double-cross me instead.

Look at me now,
Look at what you have done,
Because of you,
I hide in the dark,
My knife in hand...
Thinking,
Just thinking,
About what can be done.

Not too bad. Provide a sense of flow for the reader. Some lines need a little bit of revisement, but besides that you did a good job. Read some of my stuff if you ever get a chance.
