I'll Never Break Your Heart

For Shaun

I didn't want to fall in love,
Never wanted to give my heart to you
but you took it beneath my eyes
as our love just incessantly grew.

I didn't want you to fall in love,
I feared I'd break your heart again
so when you asked for the relationship,
I hesitated to just stay friends.

Two broken souls met as one
although unsure of the impart,
I know you'll love me forever
and I'll never break your heart.

    heather i love this poem so much......this is how a felt about a guy that had helped me stop cutting, and made me really happy, we understood eachother so much......but i ruined it :'(.......so im back to cutting......im doing a little better though, ok, enough about me lol......awesome awesome poem, im glad you and shaun have eachother, hope it lasts forever =).......take care ~hugs~

    Heather i truely feel blessed to call myself your boyfriend. I truely do love you no matter what. I am so happy that i was able to inspire so many of your poems, i am getting home from a hard day at work *like always* and i am just able to kick back and read something like this.
