Thank You Jesus

Jesus, I want thank you
for dying for me at Calvary
and for the sacrifice you made
for someone as undeserving as me
I can't imagine the pain you felt
as they drove the spikes through your hands
or the anguish that you went through
to save each and every man
I can't imagine the love
you had to have in your heart
to follow through with God's plan
knowing your fate from the start
I can't imagine the tears
that you must cry every day
it must truly break your heart
to watch us go astray
I can't imagine the forgiveness
you so effortlessly grant
when we humble ourselves and pray
you'll never say you can't
Now You sit at the right hand
of our Father up above
I could search the whole world over
and never find a more perfect love.
