Fallen

I have fallen in the ditch
No way to escape the darkness
My eyes only look up to the sky
And in my eyes all I can see
Is you and your smile

I dig the hole deeper so I would not see
The lights you shine on me
I know I should not think this way
So I dig deeper till the light goes away
But even in the darkest hell I can still see you

You and I know this is not good
You are taken
When I see you I run from you
Holding my tears tight inside
When all I want to do is take you

I yell at you to go away
Tarring my heart straight from my chest
I love you
This is why I hurt you right now
Because you and I now this is not right

Yet as much as I dig this whole
Each time I go another 10 feet deeper
The light you shine on me gets brighter
Bright enough to see the tears falling from my eyes
Enough to see I do love you
