It's the first day of school again
There's a new girl in our sophmore class
Her names Jen
There is something mysterious about her
That she hides inside
She's so quiet
People ask her questions but
It's as though she sees through them
They want to know whats on her mind
What's haunting her
She goes through school every day
As if she's a ghost
Doesn't make any friends and
Walks alone through the hallways
Guys ask her to dances and she always says no
They wonder whats wrong with this girl
Why is she so anti social
Why is she so sad
Jen is like this till the end of her high school years
Till one day someone asks her , very sincere
Why are you like this
You rejected every guy
You didn't go to your prom
You don't even date
Why are you so quiet
What are you keeping inside your mind
Jen then answers
I go through this school only because I have to
I don't look at other guys
For there are no other guys for me
I lost the one i loved
We were going to be together
Until my family made me move
I'm forever heartbroken
I can never feel the same way again
Like i have for my beloved William
My soul mate
If i can't have him then I shall have no one
Being quiet is the only way I deal
Being alone is the only way I heal
To be around other people
Just reminds me of the greatest love I lost
