What is the meaning of Life?

What is the meaning of it?
of Life?
Is it just a word
or a feeling
is it what you do
or how you act?
Is it who you are
or what you become?
Do you control it
or does it control you?
Do you enjoy it
or hate it?
Do you take advantage of it
or does it take advantage of you?
Is it your past
or your future?
When you hear the word 'life' what comes to mind?
Do you think about what you have done in your life time?
The good
or the bad?
Do you think of who you have helped or who you have left to fend on their own?
When I think of Life
I think of what I have done
and what I will do
I think of all the messed up shyt I did
and all the really good stuff
I think of my friends
my family
school
my appearence
my self esteem.
You can get a lot out of life or it can get a lot out of you.
Who decides?
You do.
Every second you are breathing
you make decisions
whether it is one that will affect your future positively or one that will haunt you forever.
When I think of life
I think of purpose
everyone has a purpose in life
your purpose may not yet be known.
You may never learn what your purpose is, was or will be
but just knowing that I have one is enough to get me by.
I was put here on this earth
given this life
and it has so much meaning to me
so many feelings
I think of so much when it comes to life.
What have I done?
What will I do?
I don't know what I will be doing in 10, 20 years,
I don't even know if I will be here
but whatever it is I may be doing
or what I may have done
I know that my life has meaning.
