My new mum

You've been my mum for seven years,
and held my hand through all the tears,
If you hadn't taken me under your wings,
I wouldn't of had all the nicest of things,

You gave me your shoulder to cry on,
when my original parents were gone,
If i didn't have you to help me mend,
I wouldn't have met my bestest friend,

Thank you for caring, treating me well,
I was really hurting and you could tell,
You told me that it would be alright,
gave me cuddles every single night,

You are amazing, thank you so much,
For giving to me, your motherly touch,
If it wasn't for you, people wouldn't see,
the nice person i am, i wouldn't be me.
