In Depths of my heart
In the darkness that will never subside
I cry in sorrow
Troubled by the fact that I am only a friend

As I endeavor to hinder my tears
To make you see that I am strong
But the fact is you are the reason why I weep
For right now I am nothing more than a friend to you
