It's her, not me

I found a guy I really like.
He is the reason I look forward to school each day.
I always notice him, and wish he'd do the same with me.
But he really likes this other girl.
She doesn't deserve him at all.
Every time she comes around, his face lights up.
She is his world.
They used to hug at the end of each day,
But now she doesn't pay much attention to him at all.
I know I'd be way better to him, if only he liked me too.
He doesn't realize this and keeps falling for her.
I realize he loves her and will never love me.
