Fallen Angel

I just can’t seem to figure out
This pain inside my head,
Just as angels fall from grace
My innocence is dead.

Once beautiful wings
Lifted me to the sky,
I never once thought
I was destined to die.

Ripped off and shattered,
Torn apart,
Broken wings,
Broken heart.

Such pain in my head
With only tears to show,
My innocence is dead -
And wings lost long ago.
