God knows even angels fall

~okay theres a song called this i know but when naming it i knew after reading this poem the song is goood to listen to....~
The waxy petals between her fingers
she blinks but she can still see the tears
behind her lays the shattered glass
evidence of her \"facing her fears\"

she honks lightly as she sniffs in
and bites her quivering lower lip
her hair falls in cascades around her face
the flowers exteriors cold when she runs her finger along it

A broken angel without her wings
fallen and sitting in plain sight
a dull flower in her shaking hand
a heartbreaking picture of another lost fight
