Let go

Its time to move on
to give into fate
to stop trying all together
it was "too little, too late"

I blew my chance
with countless flaws
i finally give up
I'm just another lost cause

I think I'm meant to be alone
to nobody to call mine
i guess i'll take a hint
and think of it as a sign

i force a smile
for everyone to see
because not many know
the real me

often ignored
thanks is never shown
all the more reason
to feel alone

so ill be contempt
because i know
i need to put it behind me
and learn to let go
