To All Those I Love That Bleed

She cried and she wept
The pain over bearing
At night she never slept
Just wanted to give up caring

And when I speak
I try and send some hope
But she says she’s too weak
Claims she can not cope

If there's one thing I want to do
Before the day I die
Lord, I want to help her find you
Because I can’t bare to see her cry

Wrap your arms around her
She breathes still but she bleeds
Let your salvation surround her
Give her the love she so needs

This is my prayer, Lord
I feel you’re calling me to help her out
I want her misery to be absorbed
But she doesn’t hear me even when I shout

Lord God I want to give her a smile
Want to show her misery can be over come
It just takes a little while
Lord I want her to see the sun

Take away the shadows that weep
Erase all her doubt and fear
Cos her wounds go so very deep
Help me show her that you’re here

Give me the words to say
To help her find your light
Lord help me take her pain away
So she can sleep sound tonight
