Writers Block

It's like the words are there
Trapped deep in my mind
Trying to get out
And show themselves to mankind

I have feelings I want to express
Feelings that i need to show
But some thing's holding them back
Something that won't let them go

The words are caught, trapped inside
Held tight by something deep
Holding them in for itself
And not allowing one syllable to seep

The monster holding them captive
Is a monster know by all
At one time or another writers block has come
And you feel like you've hit a wall

Nothing sounds just right
Not a syllable is good
Your poems seem to suck
And not sound as they should

That's when you get frustrated
And no longer want to write
But soon the monster will flee
And your poetry will be alright
