The Will To Go On

by Liz   Mar 29, 2005

If I trip, if I fall, if I crawl tonight.
Where will I be when the sun tomorrow shines bright?
Will I be in your tight embrace?
Or will I be on the ground with the dirt in my face?
Who knows my fate?
Who knows the reason I wake with the light on my face?
Who knows my heart?
Who knows how I will play my part?
Life goes on just like the words in this song.
I know each day, like a play, yes the show must go on.
Every show I must have the will to go on.
Each shows a risk, yet I must go on.
A star is born in the night's sky, while another star combusts and must die.
A black hole is the reason I cry.
Yes, every precious star has its place in the sky.
Somewhere in the night's sky a change takes place.
Yet again I wake with the light on my face.
Today's another show, and I'm a pro in this game.
I must have the will to go on...
