Tell me I am ignorant
I won’t care
I know nothing of all the things
That are waiting out there

Tell me I am stupid
I won’t mind
I don’t try to understand
This world that is so unkind

Tell me I am unworthy
I will just ignore
I cannot keep your secrets
Do not want to know any more

Tell me I am shameful
I won’t stir from sleep
I won’t try to hear you
Instead I shall sit and weep

Tell me I am pathetic
I should not live
I cut myself, sit and cry
As I have nothing left to give
