The first time I saw you,
I knew it was you,
The one I'd always dreamt of,
The one I knew was true,
The one I thought I could trust,
The one I could tell all,
The one I could take risks with and leap,
And know I'd never fall,
The one I could wrap my arms round,
The one I'd have my first kiss,
The one I'd dance with at prom,
The one I'd experience all this,
The one I'd get lost in the eyes of,
And drown in their deep blue,
The one I'd feel in my heart everyday,
Every minute, Every second too,
The one I could never get sick of,
The one I would always miss,
But then I come back to reality,
I realise life is none of this,
Now I stare at you through maths class,
And wonder if you know my name,
Wonder if you're ignoring the fact I like you,
And you're just playing a game,
Sometimes I wish you'd see me,
When I sit in silence and stare,
I know your girlfriend she notices,
And she sends me an evil glare,
But she is not the one for you,
I am I swear it's no lie,
We could enjoy time together,
And watch the world as it goes by,
But I am some "freak" who writes,
And you are some "legend" who plays,
But I'll never give up my dreams,
My dreams of all our days,
At prom I will imagine I'm dancing with you,
And imagine it's you that I feel,
I will imagine it's all reality,
And my dreams are all suddenly real...
