Why does this happen
These shootings and stuff
People dying and people crying
It makes it all so rough

Why don't you take the threats to heart
You never know, they might come true
People bringing guns to school
It could happen to you

All the stories on the news
They make me want to cry
Killing people is just so sick
I don't want them to die

Next time you hear a threat
Tell somebody fast
I don't want anyone else's
Life to be in the past
