Every night, she would drain her sadness She'd swallow pill after pill Hoping that one day, The pain would vanish. The pain made her so sore. It was too much for her, It was too much to bare... She couldn't take it anymore. She emptied a bottle of pills, Knowing that this may be it, This may be the day The pain will finally stop... Her mother came home, Oblivious to what was going on. She knew nothing about the pain Her daughter felt inside... She saw the empty bottle Lying by her daughter's side. She ran to her daughter's body, But she knew all hope was gone... She tried to save her, But it was too late... Her daughter was gone, She was too late... © Fighter
