Dear Lord I Pray

Dear Lord,
I'm praying to you so that it's my cousin you will heal
Please tak eaway what he's beginning to feel
He's suffered enough, please end his strife
And let him live a peaceful and healthy life.
He's only 48, it's not his time to go
He has so much love, more than anyone could ever know
And he's only just begun to live out his dream
But it's now beginning to rip, seam by seam
He just became a grandfather about a month ago
Of a beautiful baby girl but it's her grandpa she may never know
He doesn't get much done being in a hospital bed
All he can think is making it through or ending up dead
Please don't let him go through this pain again
And for this I pray to you, Lord, Amen.
