I've felt joy
At being alive

I've laughed
When nothing is funny

And been heard over the shouts

I've witnessed miracles
That most people overlook

I've yelled to the skies
And whispered my prayers

I've taken every breath
When so many things take my breath away

I've danced barefoot in the rain
When the sun was shining bright

I've found happiness
And it has found me
