Who I Am

by Matthew Lee   Mar 30, 2005

Who I am,
Is for me to know,
For you to find out,
Of whom I came to be

To you I'm just a stranger,
Another person in the world,
A one out of the few billion,
Just another number

You probably don't care,
If I stayed or go,
Or lived or died,
As long as you're breathing

But would you care,
To get to know me?
To know what I like?
To know who I am?

To others,
I'm a friend, an enemy
A lover, an ex
A son, a relative

I'm also,
Loved and hated,
Wanted or lost,
Kind and funny

In life I've become,
A disgrace and a savior
Honest and a liar
Happy and sad

Shaped by my life,
Altered through my mind
I am what I am,
Imperfect, but human

If you want to know me,
Of how I came to be
Of whom I am...
Then get to know me
