Stay in bed

Daylight through my window
I try to hide away
I don’t feel that I can
Survive another day

I pull the covers tighter
Curled up on my bed of nails
I can stay here all day
When my life has failed

Returning to sweet dreams
Reoccurring nightmares
I scream out in my sleep
As I know nobody is there

Broken little child
Messed up in her head
Worthless little creature
Stays hidden in her bed
