Talk to me

I tried to talk to you today,
But the same thing happened like any other day,
You told me that right now wasn't the time to talk,
That you were going to the movies or just going for a walk,
I don't remember and I don't really care,
Just every once in a while try and be fair,
I'm taking my time to give you a call,
I want to just talk while I lean on my wall,
Talk about things that don't have to make sense,
But every time I call theres a certain suspense,
Will you answer and give me some reason,
Or will I leave a message you will hear in a season,
I need to know if you'll be there for me,
What time I can call you like a quarter to three,
Don't feel bad because I'm not nagging at you,
I'm just telling you what I want you to do,
Stop ignoring me and lets talk on the phone,
Lets drop out the world and pretend were alone,
Talk about life and even about love,
Argue about if we believe in a god from above,
But none of this can happen if we don't talk to each other,
And since I love you and you say you love me it shouldn't be a bother.
