I know that you're gone
and never coming back
but i know you're still with me
and in my mind i can still hear your laugh

even though i cant see you
i know you see me everyday
looking down from heaven
making sure I'm okay

i feel a little better
when i know you are watching over me
knowing that you still care
even after you had to leave

i pray all the time now
that wherever you are
you will be happy
and that you are watching over me
