Sometimes I think
I am not over him
Should I be back with him?
Did I end it before I should have?

But then I look at what I have now
I have someone so much better
Or do I just think he is better
Because I want to get over my past

But then I think again
I know this new one is better
We have so much more in common

We have so much more fun
He can just say something and I will smile
When I think of him I smile

My past may come up in conversations
I may mix up your names
I don’t mean to
You are the one I want to be with

It is gonna take me a while to get over my past because of how long it lasted

But I am with you now
It’s exactly where I want to be and stay.
