Hidden from You

by noworries2   Mar 31, 2005

I see you and I
Get a smile on my face.
The closer you get,
The more nervous
I become.

What will you say?
What will you do?
When will I make
A fool of myself,
In front of you?

How will I get through
All of this, and not
Blow my cover?
I can’t let you see,
The true me.

I know you’d be shocked,
Because I have hidden
This person from you
For the last few months.

I can’t show you now,
It would just be a burden to you.
I want you to think that
I am all right.
I think I’m doing a pretty
Good job.
I think you believe me.

I hate deceiving you but,
It is the only way to
Not let you see the true me.

sry...but i disagree. I wouldn't be able to live if everyone knew the "true me". i'm not as horrible as it sounds. I let a lot about my self known...just little things aren't.

Girl, you have to let people see the true you. Nothing has ever got accomplished but hiding who you truly are inside you heart, and your soul. Remember that. OKAY!
Hang in there girl, and remember that i'm always here for you. Just call me up! ;)
Love you always, and miss ya tons,
