Daisy

She can't remember
The last thing she was proud of
Invisible streaks of regret
mark her tear stained face
Sunrise, wake up, a brand new day
says hey to a friend, as if she's sane
smiles enter her face, passing by some kids
She puts on a show now, must not show she's crazy
she's a good actress, hello daisy

Daisy walks alone and tired
Never would have thought she'd be such a liar
She's thirsty for somebody to care
Stumbles as she walks up the stairs
Curious of what anyone would do
If they saw, Daisy, Cry

She comes to school, looking down
Her goal was met, her feelings found
Daisy's hair wasn't brushed, just messy and torn
Her eyes weren't bright, but red and outworn
Tapped on the shoulder by a boy at her side
Daisy didn't say anything, at first, she cried
The boy then realized, this was no act, "Hello Daisy"
and left it at that

Daisy walks alone and tired
Never would have thought she'd be such a liar
She's thirsty for somebody to care
Stumbles as she walks up the stairs
Curious of what anyone would do
If they saw, Daisy, Cry

(daisy)
I can't believe me
How did this start?
I really love my family, with all my heart
But its too hard to take, whats been thrown and torn apart
Mom you told me to leave, I don't understand why
Did I do things wrong, to make us all weak inside?
I"m trying to hold it together
But Daisy's petals are falling off, can you see me?
I'm not the cheerful little flower, I used to be
Life isn't a play, I can't pretend anymore
But here I go mom, I'm out the door

Daisy walks, alone and tired
She is not, anymore a liar
Still thirsty for somebody to care
Stumbling as she walks up the stairs
She now knows, what everyone does
When they see, Daisy, Crying....
