Romeo and Juliet

by Kendra   Mar 31, 2005

Romeo is bleeding
But you can't see his blood,
Juliet is dying
Her tears causing this flood.

Their hearts slowly stop beating
With each day a piece of them fades away,
Fate has never been so cruel
To let them live this way.

Romeo needs her to survive
Juliet needs him to breathe,
Shedding a million tears everyday
This feeling that will never leave.

Longing for that moment
When they will meet again,
Living this lie
Wishing they were dead.

Drink this poison
For my everlasting love,
The distance between us is getting even longer
I can't go on without you.

Dying slowly,
Lying flowers on the ground,
Not one speck of truth
Can be found.

Romeo is out there
Half sane, half dead,
Juliet is fading from the world
Memories swirling in her head.

Chased away by jealousy
Sought out again for love,
Destiny rising in the air
Angels singing from above.

He makes his way through the bushes
Up to her balcony once again,
No shining light emitting from the window
No Juliet waiting where she once had been.

He finds out the next day
What has happened to his bride,
No hope left for ever seeing her Romeo
Has killed her inside.

He drinks the poison
Of their everlasting love,
And knows when they will meet again,
In their balcony up above.
