R.I.P. Dad

They say that the relationship between a father and daughter is like no other,
A father is a shelter, a cover,
From the world outside.

Why was it you that went to the above?
This is something that I cannot forget, I cannot shove
I would do anything for one more day with you by my side.

You were best dad,
And for once you have made me so very sad.
Being left alone, without you,
Is something no dad should every do.
