Fresh Ones Just For You

by elizabeth   Apr 1, 2005

I know you know
I don’t know how
But you do
You talk like you’re my friend
We joke and laugh
But the second I leave
I become the joke
I heard what you said
“Did you see those scars?”
Wait until I walk away next time
My head begins spinning
How do I explain these?
How dare you
Why can’t you just ask me?
Don’t laugh behind my back
Well, I hope you counted how many
Because tomorrow there’ll be fresh ones
Just for you
